Oxford, Miss. ? Ashley Filberth claimed Kansas University’s only point in a 6-1 tennis loss Friday to Mississippi.

Filberth beat Ole Miss’ Carlin Cochran, 1-6, 6-3, 10-5, at No. 5 singles. KU claimed a victory at No. 3 doubles, when Christina Skoda and Luiza Loureiro beat Cochran and Preethi Subramanian, but the Rebels won the other two doubles matches to win the doubles point.

The Jayhawks will face Mississippi State on Sunday in Starkville, Miss.
