Boys: Anderson County 60, Baldwin 58, OT
Baldwin ? Missed free throws cost Baldwin an opportunity to win against Anderson County in regulation, and missed open shots cost Baldwin in overtime.
After going 18-for-32 from the free-throw line, Baldwin was glad to be in overtime. But then Baldwin scored all three of its points from the free-throw line in overtime and couldn’t make a shot from the field.
“It was like there was a basket over the basket, so to speak,” Baldwin coach Heath Cooper said.
Baldwin (5-9) had one last chance to win in regulation, but a sloppy three-point shot by Baldwin’s Austin Inzer missed badly, and the game went to OT.
