L. Arlene Talbott-Swank, Pomona

? Services for L. Arlene Talbott-Swank, 67, Pomona, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Dengel and Son Mortuary in Ottawa. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Ottawa.

Mrs. Talbott-Swank died Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, at her home.

She was born Sept. 12, 1937, in Garnett, the daughter of Clyde Leland and Minnie L. Smith Berry. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1955 and was a lifelong resident of Franklin County.

Mrs. Talbott-Swank worked as a teller and later as a personal banker at Anchor Savings Assn. and Bank Four, both in Ottawa, for more than 20 years. She was a member of First Christian Church; Union Chapter 15, Order of the Eastern Star; Ottawa Assembly 136, Social Order of the Beauceant; Ottawa Shrine 19, White Shrine of Jerusalem; and Retta Conclave 8, Order of True Kindred, all of Ottawa.

She married Charles Marion Talbott on Oct. 16, 1955, in Richmond. He died earlier. She married Wayne Swank on April 18, 2001, in Williamsburg. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Kristi Baker, Princeton, and Barbara Ledom, Ottawa; a sister, Phyllis Donaldson, Topeka; a brother, Carl Berry, West Des Moines, Iowa; three grandchildren; two stepgranddaughters; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.

A son, Keith Talbott, and a daughter, Charlene Talbott, died earlier.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The family suggests memorials to Midland Hospice, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
