“Right Between the Ears,” the award-winning comedy show, will launch a weekly radio series on several fronts this month.

In its first weekly incarnation, the show will present a mix of new episodes and classics to air at the following times/stations:

¢ 7 p.m. Saturdays on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Raw Dog comedy channel, starting this week.

¢ 8 p.m. Sundays on Kansas Public Radio starting Jan. 1.

¢ 9 p.m. Saturdays on KCMO-AM, starting Jan. 7.

In addition, the weekly series also will be distributed to public radio stations nationwide via the Public Radio Exchange, a new Web-based distribution system in Cambridge, Mass.

Since 1985, Right Between the Ears has aired regularly on KPR stations and received numerous awards, including Gold Medals for Best Comedy Program and Best Writing at the 2005 New York Festivals.

The next live performance will be at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Jan. 14 at Liberty Hall. Tickets are on sale at the Liberty Hall box office, 642 Mass. and www.ticketmaster.com.
