Kansas University student Reba Good in April will travel to Washington, D.C., to be a representative to the new United States Model House of Representatives, organized by the American Youth Scholarship Foundation.

The event, slated for April 17-21, draws one student from each congressional district to Capitol Hill for a simulation of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Students will take part in events such as writing and voting on bills and hearings in the committee rooms of the House of Representatives on Capitol Hill.

Events also will be hosted by the Republican National Committee, Democratic National Committee and other prominent organizations.
