Eudora ? Rodney Spillman scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Eudora High boys basketball team to a 59-49 victory over Baldwin the semifinals of the Eudora Hoop It Up Tournament.

Guy Montgomery added 10 points for the Cardinals, who advance to play Kansas City Piper in Thursday’s championship game.

Blake Wieden had 11 points to lead the Bulldogs, who will play Kansas City Ward in Thursday’s third-place game.

Wellsville 65, De Soto 39

Richmond – Kyle Wright scored 19 points as the Eagles rolled past the Wildcats in the opening round of the Central Heights Tournament.

Craig Moore added 11 points for Wellsville (2-0).

Taylor Burnett paced De Soto (0-2) with 16 points.

Both teams return to action Thursday in the second day of tournament play.
