Lawrence Public Library has planned musical events for the month of December.

Zada Al Gaziyeh will demonstrate Middle Eastern culture through music and dance, with dancers from Raghsidad and music by Wazan Wa Zamir, at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at the library, 707 Vt.

Dee Hansen, soprano, and Eric Hansen, lutes, will perform a program of Renaissance music at 7 p.m. Dec. 16, also at the library.
