¢ Eudoran MVP: Lauren Kracl, a sophomore from Eudora, was named MVP of the NJCAA Division II women’s volleyball tournament after leading Johnson County CC to a 3-1 victory over Cowley County CC in the championship game in Scottsdale, Ariz. The Cavaliers finished 35-4 in capturing their first national title.

¢ Cross Country Challenge: Entries are being accepted for the inaugural Clinton Cross Country Challenge at 1 p.m. New Year’s Day at Clinton State Park.
