U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore, D-Kan., will discuss Social Security, health care and other topics facing Congress during a National Delegation Series luncheon Wednesday in Lawrence.

The event – sponsored by the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, the Dole Institute of Politics and UMB Bank – is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the institute, which is located on Kansas University’s west campus. A question-and-answer session will follow Moore’s talk.

Moore represents the Third District, which includes eastern and North Lawrence.

The event is open to the public, and reservations are required. The cost is $15 for chamber members and $20 for others.
