Leah Williams’ goal with about eight minutes left helped Free State High avoid a shutout in a 2-1 soccer loss Saturday to Emporia at FSHS. Williams, Banaka Okwuone and Alexa Moreno were cited for strong play for FSHS (1-7-1), which will travel Tuesday to Shawnee Mission South.
