Chicago Board of Trade

Grain futures advanced Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Soybean futures edged lower.

Wheat for May delivery rose 2 3/4 cents to $3.10 3/4 a bushel; May corn rose 1 1/4 cent to $2.10 3/4 a bushel; May oats rose 1 3/4 cent to $1.56 a bushel; May soybeans fell 1/4 cent to $6.30 3/4 a bushel.

Beef futures moved mostly lower while pork futures finished mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

May live cattle remained unchanged at 85.20 cents a pound; May feeder cattle fell .45 cent to $1.0707 a pound; May lean hogs rose .40 cent to 75.55 cents a pound; May pork bellies fell .70 cent to 85.25 cents a pound.
