Calvary Assembly Church of God

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Adam David Buhler has been called to serve a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Haiti Port-au-Prince Mission.

While in Haiti he will perform service for the people of that island nation and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He will enter the Church’s Mission Training Center in Provo, Utah, April 20, where he will spend two months learning to speak Creole.

Adam is the son of David and Beth Buhler and the grandson of Everett and Helen Buhler, all of Lawrence, and Margaret Johnson, of Albuquerque, N.M. He is a 2003 graduate of Lawrence High School.

He will speak April 10 at the sacrament meetings at both the Lawrence 2nd Ward and the University Ward. The 2nd Ward meets at 9 a.m. at 3615 W. 10th St.; the University Ward meets at 11 a.m. at 120 Indian Ave.
