Correction
Because of an error in a report issued Thursday by state health officials, an item on page 1B of Friday’s Journal-World stating total abortions in 2004 for Kansas residents was incorrect. According to a revised report issued Friday by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, 5,952 abortions were performed on Kansas residents. Another 5,475 abortions were provided to out-of-state residents.
