Kansas freshman Alex Galindo is considering a possible transfer, KU Coach Bill Self said from the Final Four today in St. Louis.

“I think it’s up in the air,” Self told Kansas City ‘s 810 AM Radio. “There’s a chance in his thinking he’d like to get closer to home. “

Reached by the Journal-World, Galindo confirmed pondering a possible transfer, but said nothing was finalized.

“I need to talk to coach again when he gets back from the Final Four,” Galindo said. “I really don’t know. There’s still a lot of stuff to think about and talk about in our next meeting.”

Galindo stressed there had been no final decision made and nothing to be decided until he meets with Self again.
