Dorothy E. Buddenbohm Clinton

Mrs. Clinton died Thursday, Sept. 23, 2004, at her home.

She was born April 7, 1926, in Effingham, the daughter of Henry W. and Anna A. Olson Buddenbohm. She graduated from Atchison County Community High School.

Mrs. Clinton worked for 36 years at A.C.C.H.S., and served as city clerk of Effingham for 21 years. She was a 50 year member of Order of Easter Star and a member of Effingham Union Church. She served on the Centennial Committee in 1991. She was also a long time member of 48ers and Shirley’s Coffee Group.

She married John Junior Clinton on March 9, 1944. He died June 24, 1984.

Survivors include a son, Bob Clinton, Lawrence; a daughter, Bonnie Kramer, Winchester; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to the church’s step fund, sent in care of Becker Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home, 800 Kansas Ave., Atchison 66002.
