2:48 — Randle 1 run. KU took over at Tech’s 40 after a short Tech punt, Barmann completed a key third-down pass to Mark Simmons, and Randle had a 14-yard reception and a 12-yard run to set up his second TD. Webb kick. (KU 14, Tech 2)

:44 — Hicks 27 pass from Cumbie. Tech took over at its own 46 after a KU punt and needed only five plays and 41 seconds to score. Henderson had the key play when he picked up eight yards on third-and-three from the KU 47. Run failed. (KU 30, Tech 24)

Fourth Quarter

2:37 — Henderson 70 run. Three plays after Webb missed a 43-yard field goal, Tech took the lead on Henderson’s run straight up the middle. Trlica kick. (Tech 31, KU 30).
