Bonita L. VerBrugge
Manhattan ? Services for Bonita “Bonnie” L. VerBrugge, 63, Manhattan, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. Burial will follow in Sunrise Cemetery, Manhattan.
Mrs. VerBrugge died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004, at Mercy Regional Health Center in Manhattan.
She was born April 3, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Elbert and Isabel McAllister Kuhlman. She attended schools in Bonita. She graduated from Olathe High School in 1959. She graduated from Emporia State University in 1963.
Mrs. VerBrugge worked for Panhandle Eastern Pipeline Co., in Kansas City, Mo. She also worked as office manager of the Manhattan Country Club for 27 years.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Manhattan and Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority.
She married Jan VerBrugge on July 4, 1964, in Olathe. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kristin VerBrugge Hedges, Lawrence, Marci VerBrugge, Overland Park; and three grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday at Irvin-Parkview Funeral Home, Manhattan.
