Isaacks-Doleman

Amanda and Darrick Doleman

Amanda Isaacks and Darrick Doleman, both of Lawrence, were married July 17, 2004, at South Park with Fredrick Atwood officiating.

The bride is the daughter of John and Donna Isaacks, Grantville. The groom is the son of Aaron Doleman III, Bullhead City, Ariz., and Nazaree Doleman, Lawrence.

Matrons of honor were Christian Brown and Megan Thompson. Best man was Aaron Dolemann III. Bridesmaids were Valerie Isaacks, Beth Roe and Adrianne Morales. Groomsmen were Aaron Doleman IV, Jarvis Doleman, Brian Harris and Wayne Jackson.

Trinidy Thompson, Madison Isaacks, Tabor Brown and Olivia Isaacks were flower girls. Kaden Doleman was ring bearer. Vocalists were Christian Brown and Brian Harris. Ushers were Christy Stafford and Olivia Stafford.

A reception was given at Steve’s Place in Lawrence.

The bride is a graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in elementary education at Emporia State University. She teaches at Perry Middle School.

The groom graduated from Lawrence High School and received a bachelor’s degree in health promotion at Emporia State University. He is a personal trainer at TherapyWorks and a certified nursing aide at Lawrence Presbyterian Manor.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Hutchins-Steffen

Kimberly Hutchins and Gary Steffen, both of Eudora, were married June 12, 2004, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lawrence, with the Rev. Charles Polifka officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Ron and Annette Dietz, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Darryl and Shirley Steffen, Eudora.

Matron of honor was Heather Gee. Best man was Justin Nelson. Bridesmaids were Anna Dietz-Henk and Jenny Haulmark. Groomsmen were Cole Hutchins and Chris Madaus.

Ushers were Jerry Mitchell and Brian Henk.

Kit Mitchell was vocalist and Lynn Tidwell was organist. Reader was Rachael Beebe. Ushers were Jerry Mitchell and Brian Henk. Makenzie Beebe and Kaitlyn Beebe attended the guest book. Cake servers were Kris Ready and Nancy Peterson.

A reception was given at the Eagles Lodge in Lawrence.

The bride is a 1989 graduate of Lawrence High School. She is a licensed practical nurse and a student at Johnson County Community College, Overland Park.

The groom graduated in 1993 from Eudora High School. He received a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Kansas University. He is a nurse at Kansas Dialysis Services, Lawrence.

The couple reside in Eudora.

Grammer-Maxon

Katie Grammer and Dave Maxon were married June 26, 2004, on the Baker University campus with Judge Jack Murphy officiating.

Maid of honor was Ashley Butell. Best man was John Micheau. Bridesmaids were Holly Rundus and Monica Wiggins. Groomsmen were Rich Yates and Scott Grammer. Jean Hegeman performed the rose ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Becky Grammer, Baldwin. The groom is the son of Ron and Sue Maxon, Plano, Texas. Grandparents of the couple are Bill and Jean Hegeman, Alfred and Evelyn Grammer, all of Lawrence; Ronald and Betty Maxon, Lee’s Summit, Mo.; and the late Mac and Toba Stein.

The bride is a first-grade teacher. The groom is a sixth- and seventh-grade English teacher.

The couple reside in Fort Worth, Texas.

Thiessen-Beilgard

Aimee Thiessen, Madison, Wis., and Adam Beilgard, Lawrence, were married June 12, 2004, in Kiel, Wis., with the Rev. Raymond Coombs officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Karen Thiessen, New Holstein, Wis. The groom is the son of Alan and Nancee Beilgard, Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Sonja Byers. Best man was Kyle Fish. Bridesmaids were Jennah Beilgard, Shannon Hobbs and Sara Thiessen. Groomsmen were Ryan Heule, Justin Williams and Matthew Thiessen. Jessica Vergow was personal attendant. Ushers were William Schwantes and Bryan Byers.

A reception was given at Milholme Supper Club, Kiel, Wis.

The bride graduated from New Holstein High School. She receive a degree in performance at Drake University and is now attending graduate school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.

The groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. He completed a degree in music education at Drake University and now teaches music in Madison.
