Joyce Ann Bond

? Services for Joyce Ann Bond, 57, Perry, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Perry Christian Church. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Perry.

Mrs. Bond died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, in a two-vehicle accident in rural Ozawkie.

She was born Sept. 9, 1947, in Independence, Kan., the daughter of Clifford Berry and Jynell Jones Jones.

Mrs. Bond graduated from Perry High School in 1966 and attended the School of Floral Design in Lawrence. She had lived in the Perry area since 1964, when her family moved from Cleveland, Okla.

Mrs. Bond worked as a waitress at Sharon’s Billtown Cafe and as a cook, waitress and bartender at American Legion Post No. 225 in Ozawkie.

She was a member of Perry Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 225 and American Bikers Aimed Toward Education.

She married Vernon Lee Bond in September 1984 in Perry. He died May 18, 2002.

Survivors include her mother, Perry; a son, Ronnie D. Jones, Topeka; three sisters, Cindy S. Spreer, Perry, Cathy L. Perron, Topeka, and Nancy E. Jones-Sanford, Lecompton; and four stepsons, James B. and Bobby Bond, both of Kansas City, Kan., Christopher Bond, Nebraska, and Brian Bond, Germany.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Barnett Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
