Nathan Enfield, Wellsville, and Toni Enfield, Haxtun, Colo., announce the engagement of their daughter Amanda Sue Enfield, Lawrence, to Charles Lee Lamb Jr., Lawrence, son of Charles and Denise Lamb, Overland Park.

The bride-to-be is a 1999 graduate of Wellsville High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in art history from Kansas University in 2004.

The future groom is a 1998 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School. He earned bachelor’s degree in computer engineering in 2002 and a degree in mathematics in 2004 from Kansas University.

The couple plan an Oct. 16 wedding in Lawrence.

Arndt-Norris

Bill and Sharon Arndt, Merriam, announce the engagement of their daughter Jenny Arndt, Topeka, to Tim Norris, Lawrence, son of Ken Norris and Judy Hauschild, Lawrence.

The bride-to-be graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School, received a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Washburn University and a master of business administration from Baker University.

The future groom graduated from Lawrence High School and received a bachelor of science in telecommunications management from DeVry University.

The couple plan an Oct. 23 wedding at Shawnee Presbyterian Church.

Angela Pena and Will Shaffer, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Linda Pena, Lawrence. She graduated from South Gray High School, Montezuma, and received a master’s degree in physical therapy from Kansas University. She is employed as a physical therapist at Lawrence Therapy Services.

The future groom is the son of Ben and Pat Shaffer, Olathe. He graduated from Olathe East High School and is employed by Horizon Systems Inc.

Dinah and Fred Lovitch, Lawrence, and Pat Lazar, Southport, Conn., announce the engagement of their children, Beth Lovitch and Kevin Dougherty, both of Philadelphia.

The bride-to-be is a 1984 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree from New York University in 1989 and a juris doctor from Temple Law School in 1995. She is the legal compliance specialist in the department of development and alumni affairs at Temple University in Philadelphia.

The future groom received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Pennsylvania in 1986. He is a project manager for First Data Corp. in Wilmington, Del.

The couple plan a May wedding in Philadelphia.

The bride-to-be is a Santa Fe Trail High School graduate. She plans to graduate from Washburn University in December with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and management. She is employed by Lawrence Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Santa Fe Trail High School and Kaw Area Technical School. He is employed by ACE Electric in Topeka.
