David C. Gray II

Girard ? Services for David C. Gray II, 19, Girard, will be at 2 p.m. today at First Christian Church in Girard. Burial will be in the Girard Cemetery.

Mr. Gray died Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004, from injuries suffered in an auto accident a mile west of Pittsburg.

He was born March 22, 1985, in Kansas City, Kan., the son of David and Mary “Janet” Theisen Gray. He graduated from Girard High School in 2003 and lived briefly in Lawrence before returning to Girard and enrolling at Pittsburg State University, where he was studying criminal psychology.

Mr. Gray was active in First Christian Church of Girard.

Survivors include his parents, Girard; two brothers, Brian Adam Gray, Girard, and AbdulRahman Al-Yami, Toledo, Ohio; a sister, Lisa Marie Gray, Toledo, Ohio; and grandparents John Harold and Shirley Mary Gray, Olathe, and Nina Theisen, Girard.
