Diane Lee Luthye

Services for Diane Lee Luthye, 47, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lawrence Free Methodist Church. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka.

Mrs. Luthye died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at her home in Lawrence after a long illness.

She was born Jan. 7, 1957, in Wichita, the daughter of Roy J. and Gretchen Lee Koenig Fitzpatrick. Mrs. Luthye moved to Lawrence from Tulsa, Okla., in 2002. She had lived in Topeka for most of her life, and graduated from Topeka High School in 1975.

After receiving her nursing degree from Washburn University in 1980, she spent 20 years working at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She was a member of Lawrence Free Methodist Church.

Mrs. Luthye married Stephen D. Luthye on Aug. 17, 1979, in Topeka. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include her parents, Topeka; a son, Brad Luthye, Topeka; two daughters, Courtney Diane Luthye, Lincoln, Neb., and Rebekah Lee Luthye, Lawrence; a brother, Steve Fitzpatrick, Topeka; and a sister, Nancy Espinoza, Merriam.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Lawrence Funeral Chapel, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The family suggests memorials to the Topeka Free Methodist Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
