Jonathan O. Nottingham

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. ? Memorial services for Jonathan O. Nottingham, 94, Colorado Springs, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Church of St. Michael the Archangel. Burial will be in Columbarium at Chapel of Our Savior.

Mr. Nottingham died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, in Colorado Springs.

He was born May 6, 1910, in Lawrence, Kan., the son of Jonathan E. and Mary Lane Nottingham. He attended Kansas University and Cornell University.

Mr. Nottingham served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1962 and achieved the rank of lieutenant colonel. He was an active member of the church.

He married Elma A. Garber on June 19, 1932, in Lawrence, Kan. She died earlier.

A daughter, Sara Ortiz, died earlier.

Survivors include two sons, Jonathan D. and Bruce A.; two brothers, Almarin J. and Everett L.; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home in Colorado Springs is handling arrangements.
