DeVictor Hole-in-One: Fred DeVictor, head of the city’s parks and recreation department, used a wedge Friday to ace the 120-yard No. 17 hole at Eagle Bend. Witnesses were Roger Steinbrock and Tim Larent.

Struble Shines: Lawrence’s Andy Struble won the U-19 men’s division of Sunday’s Chicago Marathon in a time of 2:51:18. He was 307th overall among 40,000 participants.

Golden Oldies Golf: Golfers over the age of 60 are eligible for the Golden Oldies/Ted Coulter Fall Classic Oct. 27 at Eagle Bend. Entrants will be flighted for medal play. Cash prizes will be awarded. For information, call Lynn Goodell at 856-5772 or Coulter at 842-6876.

Harris Cup Champs: Lucca Wang, Leah Williams and Alexa Moreno of Lawrence played on the Topeka Select Hornets team that won the U-19 division of the Harris Cup last weekend in Liberty, Mo. Todd Finley and Alfredo Moreno are the coaches.

Mass St. Mile: Brian McFall of Lawrence and Nicole Latimer of Overland Park were the overall male and female winners of Sunday’s Mass Street Mile. Each received a $100 gift certificate from Francis Sports.
