Showers expected through evening

“There’s not any sign of sunshine today,” said Jennifer Schack, 6News meteorologist. “There’s plenty of clouds. It’s just a cool, wet day today.”

Schack says the high will reach 63 today, with a 50 percent chance of showers.

“That will continue through the overnight hours, as we drop it down to 52,” she said.

The chance for rain decreases on Tuesday, with showers shifting off to the east and the high reaching 65, she said The National Weather Service says the chance for rain Tuesday is 30 percent before 1 p.m.

The thermometer reading drops to a low of 46 by early Wednesday morning, with the high reaching 62 on Wednesday afternoon. The National Weather Service says there’s a 20 percent chance for rain on Wednesday, with winds northwesterly 15 to 20 mph, gusting as high as 30 mph.
