Injury Accidents

Three Milwaukee residents were injured Friday in a rollover accident 10 miles south of Ottawa on Interstate 35.

William Federle was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango northbound about 5 p.m. when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck flipped over and came to rest on the driver’s side.

Federle, 60, Ruby Trotter, 80, and Wilma Federle, 57, were taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital in Ottawa after the accident.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 20-year-old Kansas University student’s 2000 Jeep Wrangler worth $15,000 was taken from the 4100 block of West 24th Street and later recovered. The incident happened between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 6 a.m. Thursday.
