Last body identified in K.C. slayings

? Authorities used a palm print to identify a woman whose death is believed to be linked to several others.

The woman was identified Monday as 31-year-old Claudette Juniel of Kansas City. Her badly decomposed body was found Sept. 4 in a vacant lot east of downtown Kansas City.

Police Capt. Rich Lockhart said Juniel was identified using a rehydrated palm print. The cause of death has not yet been announced.

Juniel was among six women who were found dead on vacant property in an 18-block area. Police believe the slayings are the work of a single killer. Police also believe the death of a seventh woman, whose body was found about 1 1/2 miles from the other women’s bodies, is connected. Those women already had been identified.

Terry A. Blair, 43, was arrested Sept. 14 and charged with first-degree murder in the death one of the women, Sheliah McKinzie, 38.
