Erma Leola Brammell Steffey
OZAWKIE ? Services for Erma Leola Brammell Steffey, 89, Ozawkie, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ozawkie United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Ozawkie Cemetery.
Mrs. Steffey died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at a Topeka care center.
She was born April 14, 1915, in Ozawkie, the daughter of Guy and Bessie Johnson Brammell. She was a lifelong Ozawkie resident.
Mrs. Steffey was a 60-year member of Pleasant View Grange and a member of Ozawkie United Methodist Church.
She married Marlin Ira Steffey on Sept. 18, 1933. He died in 1991.
Two grandchildren also died earlier.
Survivors include two daughters, Marlene Bush, Topeka, and Janice Parker, Moran; a son, Delvis Steffey, Ozawkie; six sisters, Murna Boldra, Lola Knackstedt, Mildred Knackstedt, Angie Curtis, Madene Schiable and Florene Johnson; two brothers, Norman Brammell and Max Brammell; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the church.
