Gift bearers were Melinda Meissner, Connie McKee and Lindsey McKee. John and Hope Wagner and Kathy Guth were eucharistic ministers. Rebecca Mauler and Trenton Mauler were altar servers. A reception was given at Liberty Hall after a wedding promenade through South Park and downtown Lawrence. A traditional grand march was led by Gerald and Lois Mauler.
The bride is a Lawrence High School graduate. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Pratt Art Institute. She is a senior designer at Random House.
The groom is a graduate of Manatee High School, Bradenten, Fla. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at Florida State University and a master's degree from Pratt Art Institute. He is an industrial designer.
