Injury accidents

  • A Lawrence man suffered injuries early Friday after his mo-ped tipped over. Patrick Shaw, 21, was crossing 14th Street near its intersection with Ohio Street at 2:25 a.m. on his Vino scooter when the accident occurred. Shaw was not taken to the hospital, police said.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 35-year-old Overland Park woman reported a $3,000 Rolex woman’s watch taken between Sept. 22 and Sept. 24 from an apartment in the 2500 block of West 26th Street.
