Stull Family and Community Education will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Stull Church of Christ. The lesson will be politics.

The Clinton Eagles 4-H Club met Sept. 6. The meeting was called to order by Donald Baldwin, president. Charlie Garzillo was secretary. Members answered roll call by naming their favorite school subject. Morgan Manger and Delaney Dieker led the club in a song. Kahlyn Heine provided a treasurer’s report. Haven Bouton provided the county council report.

Lanaea Heine gave the leader’s report. She reminded members about the deadlines for record books, pin applications, ambassador applications and Citizen Washington Focus applications. She asked for volunteers to judge record books.

Denise Snodgrass thanked the club for their support of the Children’s Mercy collection drive.

The club discussed Sunday’s carshow concession stand and National 4-H Week.

The club elected the following officers: Haven Bouton, president; Kahlyn Heine, vice president; Katie Gaston, secretary; Kirstyn Heine, treasurer; Simon Fangman, reporter; Michelle Colgan, parliamentarian; Morgan Manger, historian; Lindsey Fangman and Kasey Waite, song leaders; Delaney Dieker and Danielle Hodges, recreation leaders; and Donald Baldwin, council representative.

Laurel Nagengast, Morgan Banning, Kailey Wingert, Maria Penrod, Hyrum Richardson, Melissa Richardson, and Joseph Richardson joined the club.

Maddie Goscha gave a project talk on her entomology project. She brought her insect display to show to the club.

During Kanwaka 4-H Club’s September meeting, Stuart Wakeman and B.J. Simpson led the club in the flag salute. Miriah Dickson and Martha Kesler led the club in singing. Members answered roll call by naming what their favorite activity or trip was during the summer.

Members were reminded of the following events: National 4-H week, Sunday through Saturday; Camp Chippewa leaders training retreat, Oct. 9-10; annual Farm Bureau dinner, Oct. 12; and a walk to help prevent diabetes, today.

The club is planning an achievement banquet.
