Eudora blanks Central Heights

? Coming off consecutive home victories, Eudora High’s football team made it three in a row with a convincing win on the road.

EHS used a 34-point second quarter to hammer Central Heights, 48-0, on Friday.

After both teams went scoreless in the first quarter, Eudora exploded for 34 points in the second, keyed by two touchdown runs each from Luke Abel and Kyle Brouhard.

In the fourth quarter, Eudora added an exclamation point, capping the scoring with a 75-yard fumble return for a score by Rodney Spillman.

Abel totalled 159 yards and two scores on just 16 carries.
