The bride-to-be is the daughter of Judge Gregory and Darla Waller, Wichita, and the late Dr. Mary Clark Waller. She attended Kapaun Mt. Carmel High School and graduated from Wichita Southeast High School. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in theater and film studies from Kansas University. She earned a master’s degree in human resources management from Webster University. She is employed at Intervet Inc. in De Soto.

The groom is the son of Joseph and Rebecca Pem, Boulder, Colo. He graduated from Boulder High School and Kansas University. He is employed at Martin-Logan in Lawrence.

The couple plan an Oct. 9 wedding at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence.

Hamill-Little

Sherri Hamill and Brett Little, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Chuck and Joyce Hamill, Garden City. She is a 1996 graduate of Garden City High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2004 from Kansas University. She is a surgical dental assistant with Drs. Edwards and Wilson Periodontics.

Brett Little and Sherri Hamill

The future groom is the son of Dwayne and LaDonna Little, Kansas City, Kan. He is a 2000 graduate of Mission Oaks Christian High School in Kansas City, Kan. He is employed at Penny’s Concrete and is a volunteer firefighter with Wakarusa Township Fire Department.

The couple plan a Dec. 18 wedding at Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship in Lawrence.

Honomichl-Haight

Steve and Ginny Honomichl, Baldwin, announce the engagement of their daughter, Abby Honomichl, Olathe, to Brian Haight, Gardner, son of Mark Haight, Chanute, and Jody Marvin, Valley Center.

The bride-to-be graduated from Baldwin High School in 1998 and from Johnson County Community College in 2001. She is a dental hygienist in Overland Park.

The future groom graduated from Valley Center High School in 1997. He attended Neosho County Community College and Kansas University. He is territory sales manager for Pioneer Music Co.
