Soybean futures increased while grain futures finished mixed Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery fell 1 1/2 cent to $3.00 1/2 a bushel; December corn rose 1/2 cent to $1.98 a bushel; December oats remained unchanged at $1.50 1/4 a bushel; January soybeans rose 6 3/4 cents to $5.61 1/4 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. December live cattle rose 2.60 cents to 87.25 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose .20 cent to 99.72 cents a pound.
