Harrod-Ford

Emily Ann Harrod and Jason Michael Ford, both of Mission, were married May 13, 2004, at the Grand Hotel in Mackinac Island, Mich., with the Rev. Armand Horn officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Les and Cheryl Harrod, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Randy and Vicki Ford, Jefferson City, Mo.

The couple’s grandparents are Gene and JoAnn Van Hoesen, Lawrence; Anita Beck, Freeburg, Mo.; and Charles Ford, Plainwell, Mich.

Maid of honor was Megan Harrod. Best man was Brett Pitt. Ring bearer was Austen Ford.

A reception followed the ceremony in The Cottage at the Grand Hotel. A reception was given June 26 at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Mo.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Kansas State University. She is employed by Baker University in the School of Professional and Graduate Studies in Overland Park.

The groom is a graduate of Jefferson City High School and K-State. He is an architect for HOK Sport+Venue+Event in Kansas City, Mo.

The couple took a honeymoon trip to St. Kitts. The couple reside in Mission.
