Wells Services
Services for Philip V. Wells, 76, McLouth, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Summerfield Room at Adams Alumni Center at Kansas University. A shuttle service will be offered from Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home parking lot, due to a shortage of parking on campus, beginning at 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Wells died Friday, Oct. 29, 2004, at his home. He was cremated.
Survivors include his spouse, Anke M. Wells, McLouth; a son, Philip “Axel” Wells, Woodstock, Ga.; three daughters, Jacqueline Wells, Austin, Texas, Theresa Satcher, Keller, Texas, and Mary Caputo, Oakland, Calif.; two sisters, Joan Wells and Doris O’Hara, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and a granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials to the Philip V. Wells Ecological Research Fund, sent in care of Capitol Federal Savings, 1046 Vt., Lawrence 66044.
