Holmes services

Linwood ? Services for Betty Irene Holmes, 80, Linwood, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Quisenberry Funeral Home in Tonganoxie. Private inurnment will be in Mount Sidney Cemetery in Linwood.

Mrs. Holmes died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2004, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Quentin A. Holmes, of the home; a son, Melvin Holmes, Linwood; three brothers, Donald Mathia, Kansas City, Mo., Merle Mathia, Sumerville, Texas, and Harold Mathia, Muncie; a sister, Minnie Chapman, New Jersey; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
