Fulks-Hahn

Antonia Fulks and Jim Hahn, both of Baldwin, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Tony Fulks, Bryant, Ala., and Debbie Fulks, Lawrence. She is a 2000 graduate of Free State High School. She works at Wal-Mart in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of Jody Hahn and Brenda Jardon, both of Lawrence. He is a 2000 Free State High School graduate. He works for the City of Lawrence.

The couple plan a July 3 wedding in Lawrence.

Overstake-Lang

Erin Overstake and Tim Lang, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Don and Linda Overstake, Wichita. She is a graduate of Southeast High School in Wichita. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a veterinarian assistant at Gentle Care Animal Hospital in Lawrence.

The prospective groom is the son of Dr. Clayton and Donna Lang, Topeka. He graduated from Washburn Rural High School. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in religion and psychology from Kansas University. He plans to attend seminary in the fall to pursue a master’s degree in counseling. An avid runner, he recently participated in the Dallas and Boston marathons.

The couple plan an Aug. 7 wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence.

Thiessen-Kuder

Ed and Jill Thiessen, Hesston, announce the engagement of their daughter, Melissa Marie Thiessen, to Steven Ray Kuder, son of Merlin and Shirley Kuder, Minneapolis.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Hesston High School. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in interior design from Kansas University in 2003.

The future groom is a 1998 graduate of Minneapolis High School. He is pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree at KU.

The couple plan a June 5 wedding in Lawrence.

Ward-Haas

Joe and Sherri Ward, Claremore, Okla., announce the engagement of their daughter Lindsey Jo Ward to Daniel Haas, son of Connie Haas, Lawrence, and the late Carl W. Haas.

The future bride is a 2000 graduate of Wichita South High School. She graduated from Kansas City Mortuary College. She is employed by McGilley Midtown Chapel in Kansas City, Mo.

The future groom is a 1990 graduate of Lawrence High School and Johnson County Community College. He is a fleet Internet manager for Major Cadillac in Kansas City, Mo.
