Robert E. Overbaugh

Tonganoxie ? Services for Robert E. Overbaugh, 77, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Quisenberry Chapel in Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mr. Overbaugh died Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at his home.

He was born Nov. 24, 1926, in Tonganoxie, the son of Rudolph and Mable Reed Overbaugh.

Mr. Overbaugh had worked for Southwest Steel Fabricators in Bonner Springs and also had been a farmer. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Olathe.

He married Darlene Seaver on Feb. 22, 1953, in McLouth. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Robert J., Tonganoxie, and Rudy E., McLouth; a sister, Marvel Torneden, Linwood; and five grandchildren.

A daughter, Robin C. Overbaugh, died Oct. 25, 2000.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
