Priscilla G. Fritts

Mrs. Fritts died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at Olathe Medical Center.

She was born Oct. 1, 1944, in Ottawa, the daughter of Art Geiss and Evelyn (Hoglund) Harrell-Rhule.

She graduated from Ottawa High School in 1962 and was a lifelong Ottawa resident.

Mrs. Fritts was a homemaker and also had worked as an operator for Southwestern Bell in the mid-1960s.

She was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary of Ottawa, Aerie Lodge No. 2700, where she was president from 1977 to 1978 and from 2002 to 2003.

She married Frank W. Fritts Nov. 12, 1966, in Ottawa. He survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a son, John Aaron Fritts, of the home; her father and her stepmother, Jean Harrell, Bemidji, Minn.; two sisters, Barb Woodsum, Camdenton, Mo., and Carol Zuk; five brothers, Jerry Trent Harrell, Steven Geiss, David Geiss, Larry Geiss and Gary Geiss.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. today until the service hour Tuesday at the mortuary, where the family will greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.

The family suggests memorials to the “Eagles” Art Ehrmann Cancer Fund, sent in care of the mortuary, 2335 S. Hickory, Ottawa 66067.
