KU opera a weekend highlight

A group of Kansas University opera students this evening finishes a three-day run of Gian-Carlo Menotti's "The Consul" at the Black Box Theatre in Murphy Hall. In the opera, an innocent citizen in an authoritarian state swims against a tide of bureaucratic red tape.
