Law enforcement report

A Lawrence man told police an acquaintance broke into his apartment about 2:15 a.m. Monday, demanded money at gunpoint and threatened to hurt him if he called police. The suspect made off with $380, according to a report. Police on Tuesday were still trying to find the suspect, a 19-year-old Lawrence man. Sgt. Mike Pattrick, a department spokesman, said he would not give the exact location of the crime because of the threat allegation. He said it happened in the northwest part of the city.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A 41-year-old De Soto man reported a 1996 Ford F-150 truck valued at $11,000 taken between 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday from 1 Riverfront Plaza. Also missing is the man’s wallet and a power saw.
