  • Andy Marso, a Kansas University senior from St. Cloud, Minn., remained in critical condition Monday at University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan. He was stricken earlier this month with bacterial meningitis.

  • A 21-year-old Lawrence man reported his 1988 Ford Ranger pickup truck, worth $1,000, taken between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. Sunday from the 500 block of Rockledge Road.
  • A Kansas University student’s Dell laptop computer worth $1,800 was taken from her room in Naismith Hall, 1800 Naismith Drive, between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 5:30 p.m. Friday.
  • Someone entered East Heights School, 1440 Haskell Ave., and took VCRs, a Sony PlayStation, a calculator, a stereo and other items. The property taken and damaged was valued at $1,758. It happened between 9:01 p.m. Thursday and 6:31 a.m. Friday.
