One week after the much-hyped last episode of “Friends,” the end also comes for “Frasier” (8 p.m., NBC). A lonely planet of witty, sophisticated comedy in a sitcom universe increasingly obsessed with the vulgar, “Frasier” will be missed. It will even be missed by fans like myself, who fell out of the habit of watching it for the last three years or so. I still think “Frasier” should have ended on a high note when Niles ran off with Daphne. But there was something comforting in knowing that a show so smart and humane could still find an audience.

“Frasier: Analyzing the Laughter” (7 p.m., NBC), a retrospective filled with clips and interviews, will precede the “Frasier” finale.
