Fire calls

• Local alarm system, malicious false alarm, 11:21 p.m. Thursday, 420 W. 11th St.
• Power line down, 10:48 a.m. Thursday, 25th and Iowa streets.

Stray dogs brought to the shelter

• Beagle mix, tri-color, female, 1 to 2 years.
• Four Airdale/Aussie mixes, all black and brown, two males, two females, all 10 weeks.

The Journal-World does not print accounts of all police reports filed. The newspaper generally reports:

• Burglaries, only with a loss of $1,000 or more, unless there are unusual circumstances. To protect victims, we generally don’t identify them by name.
