Roberts lands on DL because of hamstring

Pittsburgh -- The Los Angeles Dodgers placed outfielder Dave Roberts on the 15-day disabled list Friday because of a strained right hamstring.

The move was retroactive to Wednesday.

Roberts, who already missed three games because of the injury, is hitting .265 with one home run and nine RBIs. He was tied for the major-league lead with 15 stolen bases.

Indians activate Jimenez

Cleveland -- Indians pitcher Jose Jimenez was activated from the 15-day disabled list Friday after missing nearly a month because of a strained left side. Jimenez, signed as a free agent this winter, was 0-1 with a 9.00 ERA in four games before he went on the DL. He made two rehab appearances for Triple-A Buffalo this week.

O's-Indians rescheduled
