Law enforcement report
- Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies and Eudora Police late Monday night were investigating a one-vehicle accident south of Eudora where an injured man was taken to a hospital by helicopter ambulance. The man reportedly lost control of his vehicle while westbound on Douglas County Road 458 near County Road 1061. He then went to a nearby residence for help. No other details were available.
Burglaries and thefts reported
- A Ford Expedition worth $35,000 disappeared between 11:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 a.m. Sunday from the 800 block of New Hampshire Street, according to a report.
- Someone took a wet/dry vacuum and a drywall sander valued at $1,400 from Anderson Rentals, 1312 W. Sixth St. It happened about 7:15 a.m. Friday, according to a report.
- C & G Auto Rentals, 308 E. 23rd St., is missing a red 2001 Dodge Neon valued at $6,500. It was taken between April 6 and April 27, according to a report.
