Andrea Lee Garrett Horch

Services for Andrea Lee Garrett Horch, 57, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Horch died Friday, April 30, 2004, at her home.

She was born July 13, 1946, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Barbara Hoskinson Garrett. She was adopted by Bill Garrett.

She graduated from Lawrence High School and attended Washburn University in Topeka.

Mrs. Horch was youth director at the Air Force base in Little Rock, Ark., for many years. She also co-owned and operated Main Street Family Restaurant in Jacksonville, Ark. She moved back to Lawrence in 1995 after retiring.

She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Lawrence.

She married Arthur E. Horch on Nov. 12, 1965, in Lawrence. He died July 13, 1990.

Survivors include two sons, Eric Sean Horch and Kevin Allan Horch, both of Lawrence; her father and stepmother, Patti Garrett, Lawrence; a brother, Mike Garrett, Lawrence; a sister, Michele Simpson, Lawrence; and one grandchild.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The family suggests memorials to the Andrea Lee Horch Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
