Lawrence police have arrested one woman suspected of forging a dead woman’s checks.

The 22-year-old Lawrence woman was booked into jail Monday night on charges of forgery and theft.

She and two other suspects are accused of forging checks belonging to 77-year-old Naomi Kidd, who died in a Eudora house fire more than a year ago.
