Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Four Kansas University students reported $6,230 in property taken between 10 a.m. March 22 and 11 a.m. Wednesday. Items taken included speakers, a TV, golf clubs, a George Foreman grill and a Dell computer.
  • A 1995 Mazda Millennia worth $7,000 was reported taken between 1:15 a.m. and 2:15 a.m. Monday from the 1700 block of West 23rd Street. The owner was a 27-year-old Kansas University student.
